We offer a space for everyone. An indoor/outdoor studio equipped with easels, a ceramic wheel and enough inspiration for creators all around. Learn more about our upcoming retreats.

Who can apply to the ART residency?We welcome applications from artists of all disciplines and backgrounds.

What does the ART residency provide?Accommodation, studio space, wellness activity, daily breakfast, transportation from airport to akaru.

What is not included in the ART RESIDENCY?Travel expenses, personal expenses, we do not include lunch and dinner.

How long is the ART residency, and when does it take place?The art residency is 2-weeks long and takes place 6 times throughout the year

Are there any requirements or expectations for participating artists?We do ask the participating artists to respect studio time, this is a time for all artists to connect and work together in their practice.

What does the art program day to day look like?Please remind yourself this is an optional program. We normally start our day with some movement, then continue with breakfast and two sessions of studio time with lunch in between, fun evening activities, opportunity to surf, and excursions.

When do the yoga retreats take place?Yoga retreats will be hosted throughout the year, for now we have 2 1 week retreat and one very special weekend retreat where we will launch our residency.

What is the difference between the art and yoga?If you are seeking for a space to create and meet other artists then the art residency is for you. If you are looking for a more relaxing yoga retreat, for time to slow down, then the yoga retreat is for you.
