We welcome applications from artists of all disciplines and backgrounds.

What does the Art Residency provide?

We provide our residents with accommodation, studio space, wellness activities, daily breakfast, two excursions and roundtrip from airport to Akaru.

What is not included in the Art Residency?

Accepted Answer

Travel expenses, personal expenses, as well as lunch and dinner, are not included.

Are there any requirements or expectations for participating artists?

We do ask the participating artists to respect studio time, this is a time for all artists to connect and work together in their practice.

What does the art program day-to-day look like?

We normally start our day with some movement, then continue with breakfast and two sessions of studio time with lunch in between, fun evening activities, opportunity to surf, and excursions.

Question 6

How long is the Art Residency, and when does it take place?

Our Art Residency is 2-weeks long and takes place six times throughout the year.
